HOW IT WORKS
The Blockley is built in the shop as individual block treads and center stack blocks. On site, the flight stacks together tread on tread and is bolted through the stack — no stringer, no welding on site. It can stand freestanding in the room or attach to a wall on one side. Railings and LED lighting are fitted after the stack is up.
A note on sales tax: A stair we install for you is priced as a construction job, with no sales tax line for you in Pennsylvania. A stair kit or railing system delivered to a Pennsylvania address is a product sale, so Pennsylvania sales tax applies at the rate for the delivery address — 6% statewide, 8% in Philadelphia, 7% in Allegheny County. Kits shipped to other states are taxed only where the law requires it. Your quote will show the tax once we know the delivery address.
