Custom Floating Stairs & Railings in Philadelphia & South Jersey
This is home. CAPO Design designs and builds in Bristol, Pennsylvania, and our custom stairs and railings go into homes across Philadelphia, the Main Line, Bucks and Montgomery counties, and South Jersey. Rowhouses, historic homes, and new custom builds all have one thing in common: the stair is the spine of the house, and it should be built like furniture and finished like architecture.
What We Build
The Bristol and The Radcliffe floating-stair kits; custom and bespoke stairs; railings in cable, glass, wood, stainless steel, and steel; and pARTitions room dividers that can be made to match your railings.
Built Here, Installed Here
Custom projects here get the full path — measure, design, and fabrication in our Bristol shop, and installation with our own coordination on site, working with you and your contractor. In older homes, a floating stair can open a tight entry without changing the character of the house; in new construction, it sets the tone for everything around it.
How a Project Works
It starts with a conversation, photographs, and measurements. We work up an estimate and the design, fabricate in our Bristol shop, deliver, and coordinate the installation on site.

For Local Stair Companies & Installers
You are neighbors, not just competitors. Use our free Stairway Tools in your business; buy CAPO kits and components when that beats fabricating in-house; and talk to us about installing CAPO work and referring or selling CAPO locally. We are building a file of local companies we can work with.
