Custom Floating Stairs & Railings on Long Island

Long Island homes run from tight renovations to full custom builds, and the staircase is usually the first thing a guest sees. We design and build custom floating stairs and railings for Long Island homes from our Pennsylvania shop, and our kits ship to the Island for installation by your builder or a local installer.

What We Build

The Bristol and The Radcliffe floating-stair kits; custom and bespoke stairs; railings in cable, glass, wood, stainless steel, and steel; and pARTitions room dividers that can be made to match your railings.

From Renovations to the East End

A floating stair opens up an entry or great room without adding weight to the room visually — open risers, clean lines, and light moving through the house. On the East End, that same openness suits the glass and natural light of Hamptons homes; closer in, it modernizes older homes without enlarging the footprint. Railings in glass, cable, wood, stainless steel, or steel finish the stair, balcony, or overlook.

The Hamptons & East End

Building or renovating on the East End? Our staircase and railing kits arrive ready for your contractor to install, and custom work is designed with you and your architect or builder from the first measurements.

How a Project Works

It starts with a conversation, photographs, and measurements. We work up an estimate and the design, fabricate in our Bristol shop, deliver, and coordinate the installation on site.

For Long Island Stair Companies & Installers

Our free Stairway Tools are yours to use — measuring, layout, and code guidance built for working stair professionals. Ask about buying CAPO kits instead of fabricating every job in-house, and about being kept on file as a local installer.

Questions

Do you work with our builder or architect? Yes. Most custom projects involve a builder, architect, or designer, and we coordinate measurements and details with them directly.

Can I get an estimate before a site visit? Yes — photographs and rough measurements start the estimate. For railings, walk the run heel to toe; each step is about a foot.

Do kits ship to Long Island? Yes, anywhere in the U.S. — including the East End.
