THE LUCIDA

Frameless glass — no posts, no frame, nothing between you and the view. One design, two sub-designs: floating panels, and full fill panels.

  • Starting at $450 per lineal foot — a starting point; handrail, covers, and options set the final price

  • ½″ tempered laminated glass — straight panels, or curved panels bent to follow the stair

  • Floating panels — glass panels on standoff pins: the glass bolts through on round stainless pins and floats off the stringer or wall. Straight runs, or curved glass that follows the curve of the stair

  • Full fill panels — glass panels that fill the full guard opening

  • Standoff pins in stainless steel, or painted

  • Standoff covers in stainless steel, painted steel, or matching hardwood

  • Handrail — your choice: stainless steel; painted steel; or a wood cap rail in red oak, white oak, walnut, maple, hickory, or ash (other and exotic woods available; quarter-sawn and rift-sawn available; raw or finished; stain matching from your sample). The glass can also run with a bare top — no handrail

  • Hardware-only orders: the hardware — metal and wood parts — can be ordered on its own, without the glass, to pair with your local glass supplier and your local installer

  • Fits stair flights — straight or curved — landing guards, lofts, and balcony guards; works with any CAPO stair, and on its own as a railing-only project

  • Installation is not included — installation is priced separately, after details

  • Lead time: 6–8 weeks

  • Every railing comes with a 24-month warranty.
